I. Customer: A Tier 1 supplier capable of providing components for Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

Ningbo Top Group (601689), founded in 1983 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s main board, is a technology‑driven automotive components company with more than 100 manufacturing facilities worldwide and over 25,000 employees. Its product portfolio spans nine major segments, including vibration damping, interior and exterior trim, chassis systems, thermal management, air suspension, and intelligent driving. The company serves leading automakers such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, General Motors, Geely, Li Auto, NIO, and Xpeng. Such Tier 1 suppliers are far from merely “good enough”: they must pass rigorous assessments and maintain documented records across key criteria, including production capacity, quality consistency, safety and compliance, delivery reliability, and after-sales responsiveness. II. Hundreds of Units: A Test of Large-Scale Delivery

In the HVLS industry, dozens of units are standard; hundreds is a whole different story. Whether it’s the “King of Hundreds” fans or simultaneous deployment across multiple workshops, it puts three key capabilities to the test: Production capacity climbing uphill — Complete the production, inspection, and shipment of 210 units within the agreed timeframe; Multi-scenario compatibility — With single‑bay workshops spanning over 10,000 m² and ceiling heights exceeding 20 meters, and with varying column spans, beam profiles, and crane layouts across different bays, W.FANS offers a range of diameters from 3.1 to 8.5 meters, compatible with I‑beams, concrete structures, space frames, and custom‑designed configurations—eliminating the need for any modifications to the existing factory building. Construction without halting production — By coordinating production schedules to stagger operations, hoisting and commissioning are completed during line‑side downtime.

III. 20-Meter Ceiling Height: Turning the Most Challenging Space into a Value-Adding Feature

This is the most technically demanding stage. With ceiling heights exceeding 20 meters, conventional solutions fall short: the higher the space, the greater the vertical temperature gradient—resulting in heat buildup on the roof during summer and stifling conditions at ground‑level workstations, where even small fans merely circulate already‑hot air. Meanwhile, if an HVLS fan is mounted too high, its airflow dissipates and spreads out before reaching the floor. The king’s solution is “ On-site survey + Custom non-standard solutions “: We conduct a detailed survey of floor-to-floor heights, column spans, crane travel paths, overhead load-bearing capacity, and pipeline layouts, then use this data to determine the optimal locations for lifting points, the appropriate lengths of extension rods, and the ideal fan blade diameters—without modifying the factory building itself, only the installation plan.” Winter brings another benefit: low-speed reverse airflow pushes down and mixes the warm air at the ceiling, eliminating thermal stratification and reducing heating energy consumption. 

IV. How did the “King” clear the Tier 1 threshold?

Safety : Hundreds of kilograms of equipment are suspended at high altitude year-round, and the “King” system is equipped with ten layers of safety safeguards, including balance wire ropes and fall‑prevention safety loops, providing multiple redundant protections. Qualifications : Certified to ISO 9001:2015, awarded the Five-Star After-Sales Service certification, and undergone a comprehensive factory audit by TÜV Rheinland; holds more than 45 patents, including 3 invention patents. Service : 4S maintenance system, with 2-hour online response and on-site fault resolution within 48 hours. 

V. Outcomes

After more than a hundred W.FANS units were put into operation, the perceived temperature in the workshop dropped by 5–8°C—this marks the dividing line between “effective” and “ineffective” solutions in the HVLS industry. A gentle airflow of 1–3 m/s accelerates sweat evaporation, alleviating fatigue at high‑temperature workstations, while simultaneously facilitating the removal of exhaust gases and dust, introducing fresh air, and speeding up equipment heat dissipation. In terms of energy consumption, W.FANS is equipped with PMSM permanent‑magnet synchronous motors that meet the IE4 ultra‑high efficiency standard, delivering approximately 30% energy savings compared to conventional motors, and featuring IP67 protection for maintenance‑free operation. Topu is far from an isolated case.
